It Really Is That Bad For Them
Tweet
Photoshop is the major tool in their arsenal. That’s what they’ve got. Now folks, we on the left lived through 2000-2005. The Democrats were in an unbelievably bad position and the leadership of the party was lame and just not getting it. But I don’t think we at our lowest were as low as the GOP is right now. And the election was just four months ago and Michael Steele is the party chairman.
Enjoy it, folks.

Personally, I think their photoshops are funny. I don’t think they will help win many elections, but at least sometimes we will be laughing with them and not just at time.
“But I don’t think we at our lowest were as low as the GOP is right now.”

Last time it was this bad for the Democrats was during the Hoover administration.
Good news for the GOP, they are more politically united, which means they have more political power. Bad news, they are united for the wrong ideals.
“Deficits don’t matter” said Dick Cheney.
IOKIYAR.
“they are more politically united”
I don’t see it. The RNC Chairman is on the verge of being fired for criticizing Dear Leader Rushbo. The Rockefeller types are bailing. Rumors are going around that Arlen Specter might even switch to being a Dem, since he can’t win a primary as a Republican (not fucking insane enough, apparently). George W. Bush is persona non-grata. Dick Cheney even moreso.
The GOP is fucked all around. At least the Dems at their low point in the 1980′s had some leadership in Congress (Kennedy among others). The Republicans have Boehner and Cantor, two of the dimmest bulbs to ever win election to anything.
It’s beautiful.
I meant low as in a mood sense, not necessarily a congressional composition sense.
OW: “I meant low as in a mood sense, not necessarily a congressional composition sense.”
Ahhh… Well, it’s both.
Me: “they are more politically united”
Jaim: “I don’t see it.”
100% of the House voted against the stimulus.
C’mon, you know those clowns can only critize, bitch and moan because they have nothing else: no ideas, no imagination, no ethics, no humility, no personal responsibility…I can’t go on.
What they do have lots of is fear and it’s not selling.
Bring on the trolls!
It’s not so much an arsenal as it is that thing you keep the whisks and slotted spoons in, like in the kitchen. Whatever that thing is.
A.
I disagree. The Cons of today are nothing but major tools.
Please stop the links to Instadipshit. It leaves Cheetos powder on my screen.
Whatever that thing is.
A quart jar with duckies on it?
Still, you’ve got to appreciate the structure of the joke, even if you disagree with its content.
“Still, you’ve got to appreciate the structure of the joke, even if you disagree with its content.”
I agree. The level of mockery was better than the “Half Hour News Hour”, for example.
