UPDATE: No matter how hard Fox News tries they can’t get anti-Obama results from their polls. Its like the president is popular and has the respects of the citizens. Fox seems to be fighting with Scott Rasmussen to be the Limbaugh of Republican pollsters.
And this is supposed to be shocking, the product of 20 years of liberal public indoctrination, uh, I mean, education?
Saw Matt in the recent comments for a post titled ‘Obama v. Reagan,’ and I said, man I gotta check that out. That’s going to be some good crazy.
The man never disappoints.
Reagan started the destruction of the middle class with his pro-big business policies and the Repubs picked the ball up and are carrying it to this day. His oppressive policies as Governor of California, cutting social programs that were actually working AND cutting much needed tax revenues, are still causing problems in California.
I realize Reagan and his rethug progeny got plenty of help from Clinton and invertebrate Democrats but the Repubs own this.
Obama is and will not be a Reagan because even he knows that the Reagan you cons deify so much was nothing more than smoke and mirrors, a myth, a phony.
The irony here is that if Reagan were alive today, you cons would vilify him as a moderate and unworthy of your idolation. That is funny!

Seriously though, Obama is a lifelong rigorous academic, policy wonk, and hands-on executive. Ol’ Dutch was a bumbling idiot and mean-spirited figurehead who spent his pre-political life as a Hollywood actor and enjoyed a good racist joke now and again. What’s to compare?
