Obama Going To Europe To Learn Socialism From Experts

Well, that’s the kind of thing the right wing believes anyway.

Barack Obama will make his first trip to Europe later this month as U.S. president, visiting Britain, France, Germany and the Czech Republic, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Thursday.

I’m expecting the reception will be a lot warmer than it was for Bush. And we don’t have to worry about the president of the United States sounding like the least educated leader in the room anymore.

    Well, maybe not in the Czech Republic what with that whole “Trading Eastern Europe for Russia’s Help in Iran” thing.

    I’ll put his intellect before yours any day dennis, for that matter. Obviously you believe in “talking tough while hiding under the bed” diplomacy. You get more idiotic with every post.

    Obama is looking for ideas, not ideology, that are working and have been working for years in Europe with an emphasis on health care.

    Anyone that has lived in Europe, particularly France and the Netherlands, realizes that their social systems have a lot of great ideas that we can apply here. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

    Michael Moore’s “Sicko” gives you a fairly good idea of how some of these systems work. It’s definitely worth a watch.

    We don’t have to worry about Obama sounding smart or stupid. We have to worry about him caving in to whatever Europe wants. Just because something works in Europe, doesn’t mean that it will work in the US.
