I can’t wait for those who defended him to admit they were wrong.

  2. Rheinhard says:

Now what’s going to be really funny is watching the geniuses at RedState dial back the outrage meter and figure out how to continue demanding the heads of Zack Roth and Keith Olbermann now that the Lil’ Rajput Reagan has admitted he f***ed up.

Must pick up popcorn on way home…

  3. SaveFarris says:

Kinda reminds me of the time when Gore went out firefighting with James Lee Witt.

  4. michael says:

Who here thought, three days ago, that Al Gore was the dynamic future of the Democratic Party?

    Hands?

    Anyone?

  5. ed says:

And thank Jeezus that Big Liar never got to be President. The U.S. may have never even invaded Iraq. For starters. Just think how much worse Gore would have been than Cheney…

Of course he did. Who honestly believed otherwise? Besides the Usual Wingnut Dumbasses, I mean.

  7. Jack J. says:

You guys need to crawl back into your Cone of Silence because your Limbot fantasies are waaaay out of day.

I mean, really, you’re defend Jindal by dumping on Al Gore?

    C’mon!

You clowns are not only out of ideas but out of anything that resembles credibility.

We need smarter wingnuts in here, you guys are hardly worthy of a response.

  8. Duros62 says:

No kidding, Jack. William F. Buckley is spinning in his grave.

And thank Jeezus that Big Liar never got to be President.

I’ll bet the Iraqis wouldn’t have built a statue in his honor.

  9. Southern Quaker says:

    Lil’ Rajput Reagan

I’m not a Jindal fan by any stretch of the imagination, but can we lay of the snide remarks about his ethnicity?

  10. ed says:

No kidding, Jack. William F. Buckley is spinning in his grave.

Wm. F. Buckley was a racist shithead who used a lot of big words. He owns this shit.

  11. ed says:

Refresh my memory, would you please?

  12. Parthenon says:

Just think how much worse Gore would have been than Cheney…

More clean energy, more fiscal responsible governance (actual conservative fiscal policy, you might say, instead of the pretend Bush kind), thousands of Muslim civilians and American soldiers still alive…

    The horror!

  13. Duros62 says:

Wm. F. Buckley was a racist shithead who used a lot of big words. He owns this shit.

No, see, I just meant as a conservative he would..

    oh, who am I kidding?

  14. I just don’t understand. How do they keep doing this stuff and thinking they will get away with it? Are they really that out of touch?

  15. Duros62 says:

Are they really that out of touch?

I honestly think they think the people they are talking to are idiots.
And if the folks at CPAC are any indication, they aren’t wrong.

  16. ed says:

Worked out pretty well for them during the Reagan Administration. Hell, Ol’ Dutch told a story about how he personally participated in the liberation of Buchanwald no fewer than three times (and plenty of other similar shit–dude was addle-minded even before the Alzheimer’s kicked in in 1987, tragically enough). It worked then; no one cared. Why not try it again?

But, but, the James Lee Witt nonsense is exactly equivalent if not worse, right Dumass Wingnuts.

  17. Rheinhard says:

Snide? Where’s snide? Do you even know what “Rajput” means? From an alliteration standpoint I thought it was pretty clever, myself…

  18. hf says:

I had to Google this myself. Apparently Gore said he went to see some Texas fires with James Lee Witt, and it turned out he actually went with Witt’s aide. I guess the media back then thought Witt was the future of the Democratic Party, and that Gore told the story to make Witt look good?

  19. C.S.Strowbridge says:

“Are they really that out of touch?”

    Yes.

hf says: “I had to Google this myself. Apparently Gore said he went to see some Texas fires with James Lee Witt, and it turned out he actually went with Witt’s aide.”

I had no clue what he was talking about either. I assumed it wouldn’t be a convincing argument, and it turns out I was right.

  21. Jay Tea says:

Man, no wonder you people are so scared by Jindal. He’s so good, he laid the groundwork for this scam years ago:

Anyone who could arrange support for his lying this far in advance is obviously a force to be reckoned with.

If only he had followed the wise, able leadership of Mayor Nagin and Governor Blanco in that time of crisis…

    J.

If only he had followed the wise, able leadership of Mayor Nagin and Governor Blanco in that time of crisis…

…instead of listening to FEMA, described in this Senate subcommittee report:

FEMA had no operational catastrophic disaster plan, FEMA’s programs were insufficient to meet housing needs in post-catastrophic events, FEMA decisions to reject other options resulted in heavy reliance on costly trailers and mobile homes, legal interpretations eliminated housing options, FEMA’s programs were marked by frequent changes and errors, FEMA had insufficient and poorly trained staff, the needs of renters were not met and flawed FEMA public assistance programs blocked state and local governments from restoring public services needed for housing recovery.

    Heckuva job, JT!

  23. Zython says:

Man, no wonder you people are so scared by Jindal.

Please, you also said we were scared of Fred Thompson, Sarah Palin, and Joe the Plumber, and look at how well those turned out.

  24. Southern Quaker says:

Do you even know what “Rajput” means?

um, yeah, it’s an Indian soldier caste. How is calling him “li’l Rajput Reagan” any different than calling an African American politician Shaka Zulu?

  25. C.S.Strowbridge says:

J.G.Thayer: “Man, no wonder you people are so scared by Jindal. He’s so good, he laid the groundwork for this scam years ago…”

Jindal admitted he lied, and you are still defending what he said.

    You are a true believer.

I can’t wait till November 2010. And 2012. And at this rate, 2014 and 2016.
