After reading Grumpymann’s comment of concern, I’d like to retract my own 12:08 pm comment. I am sorry for any discomfort or inconvenience it may have cause for our more sensitive readers. I confused street humor with that which might be more appropriate for internet blogging. I humbly apologize.

That said, I’d like to replace that 12:08 pm comment with a more politically correct one, suitable for even our most conservative guests:

It doesn’t matter whether a f#(%ing piece of $#!t pig is wearing hip-hop clothing or even lipstick, it is still a f#(%ing piece of $#!t pig!

Exactly. The GOP are going to use racial stereotypes to try and sell their unpopular policies to the people they are racially stereotyping. It’s almost sublime in its inanity.

I wonder what the reaction would be if Obama decided to ‘Hip-hop’ the White House?

Given the past attempts at appealing to black youths (Remember “Who let the dogs out”?) calling this a ‘minstrel show’ might turn out to be kind. After all, from Steele’s own words, it sounds like he will be using black culture to sell the GOP to a group that is not receptive to the principles the GOP stand for. Instead, they should figure out what part of the GOP blacks and Hispanics are turned off by. (The Southern Strategy.)
