In other words, Obama promised to post bills for public viewing and, since that’s never been done before, there are some logistics that need to be worked but they’re aiming to get the system up and running asap. In the meantime, they’ve posted the actual text of every bill that Obama has signed so far, short the hundreds of pages in the stimulus package, which could easily be defined as emergency legislation.

You really have to be a complete tool to read that post, note that Obma isn’t even a month into his administration and then start screaming “HE BROKE HIS PROMISE!!LIAR!!!”

The stupidest fucking thing here, however, is that above you wrote “WE CHECKED!” when, in fact, you hadn’t checked shit. Certainly not the first place you should have checked which was the White House webpage.

Seriously, Jay Tea. Own up. What exactly did you check, before you posted that comment? Where do you go to conclude that Obama was not and had no plans to fulfill this campaign pledge?

In other words: once we get these most important bills passed and signed, we’ll get around to implementing it for such crucial matters as National Left-Handed Jockeys Day and other laws of critical import.

Now kindly show how each of those were posted for public review before he signed, were each an “emergency” bill that the delay of a few dyas would have caused grave harm, or admit that Obama hasn’t kept his campaign promise.

Of course, feel free to make the argument that nearly every bill Obama signs is an “emergency.” That makes the entire promise utterly empty and pointless.

The “stimulus” bill was such an emergency that he took four days to sign it — but it wasn’t posted for most of that time.

Nobody made Obama make that promise. He chose to, and nobody forced him to break it.
