Classless. But not surprising. Is the Obama staff aware that the election is over? Obama is no longer running against Bush. He won. Get over it. I wonder how long until this entry disappears down the memory hole. But I did enjoy the part about then-Senator Obama swiftly and heroically leaping into action to... introduce legislation. Wasn't this his job, as a Senator? And that legislation apparently went nowhere, since I can't seem to find any related bill sposored by Obama that went beyond the initial introduction. So much for follow through. That's kind of like how he heroically tried to stop the housing collapse by... writing a letter. In lieu of introducing legislation, that is. Which again, was his job as a Senator. In 2005 he had the chance to take action by joining John McCain in pushing for passage of S. 190 "Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005" which would have increased regulation of the secondary mortgage market. He passed. We should start calling him <a href="http://professionalsuperhero.com/" rel="nofollow">President Action Item</a>. "Sound and fury, signifying nothing". Well that wasn’t long:

You f**kin got that right! If the last 8 years, and the last 2 in particular, have taught us anything, it is that we absolutely need to marshal the troops and keep them writing and calling their Congress-critters (especially Blue Dogs) if we're to get anything real done at all.
