I always pictured her as more of the “That’s how I roll, motherfucker” type myself.
She’s a very quiet and unassuming person, actually.
Doesn’t Souter look really uncomfortable? And it’s interesting how Thomas has stood as far back as possible in the picture. And, of course, how relaxed Obama is.
“Stop!….In the name of love…!”
Oh. Wrong supremes.
And it’s interesting how Thomas has stood as far back as possible in the picture.
Only one head negro in charge at a time.
Yeah, I went there.
Is that in the rule book?
Stevens has that “THANK GOD, I can finally retire” look in his eye.
Not yet, but it’s going to be voted on at the next meeting.
We’re probably reading a little too much into where Justice Thomas ended up standing for a single photograph.
He’s just standing back there because nobody likes him.
And he’s surrounded by liberals.
Most importantly it is great to know that new appointees will be made by an intelligent and responsible president.
Is that in the rule book?
Section 1, Paragaph 35. Previously known informally as The MLK Rule, now known as the Obama Mandate.
My sister was on the fence about who to vote for in November (I know, I know). I didn’t really debate with her or anything, but I suggested that even if she wasn’t sure Obama had enough experience, you could damn well bet that the next few picks for the SCOTUS regarding womens’ rights would be critical.
I’d like to think this is why she made the sane decision and voted Obama.
Were the other four Justices not present, or were they just out of the camera’s frame?
Don’t forget to mention what a prick Alito is. He skipped the meeting even though he was in the building.
Yeah, Alito went and pooped his diapers. Republicans have a hard time acting like adults.
What about Scalia, Kennedy, and Breyer? Where were they?
