I almost wish they’d left off the flag pin as a final fuck you to Hannity and co. Almost.
Still, epic awesome.
With you completely on that, Parthenon…
America wins.
So young looking now… He’s going to look like his own dad in 8 years.
It’s cool how he’s not smiling.
The pin is distracting, it would have been better to leave it off since we already have a real US flag in the photo.
Shoot the photographer. The most photogenic President in history and that’s the best work available? Crummy lighting and angle, and the expression, well, merely okay.
Cool!!!!!
First digital Presidential portrait.
His hand isn’t on his heart!!!11!!eleventy-one!!!!

Just dropped by to share in the joy.
I take the bus past the Federal Building here in Seattle on my way to work. If I’m facing East, I can see into the lobby, and damn if Bush and Cheney’s pictures don’t make me wish we had a different president. Can’t wait for my commute Wednesday.
I agree – great portrait but the flag pin is overkill.
Passerby,
He’s smiling with his eyes. I like it too.
It will be so nice to come back from international travel and see Obama and Biden greeting me at the airport. It makes me feel so proud of America just thinking about it. It always pissed me off to be welcomed home by Bush and Cheney.
