Speaking of “trust but verify”, it is very important to do that for all of Jt’s posts, because invariably he gets facts wrong.

But back to the matter at hand… the more I think about it, the more it reinforces what I (and a lot of others) were saying all along: this shows that Obama is incompetent, inexperienced, naive, or all three.

SERIOUSLY? Gee, you don’t get incompetence quite as bad as the governor and two-term president you just touted.

While I question your assessment of Obama, I have no doubt he is a fast learner, as the election suggests. Of course, compared to Chimpy McRetard, Obama is a genius.

The only reason why anyone knows anything about the Syracuse developer giving money to Bill Clinton’s foundation is because the Obama team required the Clinton’s to reveal the foundation’s donors as part of its vetting process. The Obama team did this, even though it is legal to keep foundation donors secret.

Unlike campaign contribution regulations, there is no federal law requiring former presidents or their spouses to disclose money they collect for their foundations. Nor are there legal limits on the sources or amounts of such money.

But the Clintons last month revealed the identity of donors to Bill Clinton’s foundation as part of an agreement with President-elect Barack Obama, who selected Hillary Clinton as his nominee for secretary of state.
