Dubai Schadenfreude

I like capitalism probably more than the average Joe American, but for the last few years I’ve found the crazy building and excess of Dubai to be kind of ridiculous. So I don’t shed a tear when I read that the global credit crunch is kicking their butts too. That said, if anyone could hook me up with a stay in the super swanky Burj Al Arab, that would be highly appreciated.

    Not interested in vacation to an Arab state, no matter how ridiculously posh they try to make it. I can barely stand to be around the Christians, but if I keep my tongue I can still ‘pass’ as normal.
