The Vikings have sold out the stadium every game since 1997. Don't say that Minnesota doesn't deserve a team.

The Viqueens have a ho-hum team in the worst division. As was said before, why drop 3-4 bills to watch a mediocre team in a shitty stadium? Home is much cheaper & more comfortable. The fans would be excited if they had a good, exciting team.

This is also prime-time for hockey. Highschool playoffs starting, college season heating up, After a hot start, the Wild are trying not to suck.

I think MN has a semi-pro basketball team. Can't remember what happened to them...

Um, there is a recession going on. Maybe that's why there's no sellout?

I know the Cardinals are going to get stomped on. But the Vikings? The Eagles aren't a sure thing. The Vikings have a pretty good defense. Do you really think the Vikings are going to implode like the Cowgirls? And the Eagles couldn't even beat the Redskins.

What I want to know is, why the fuck to the 12-4 Colts and the 11-5 Falcons have to go on the road to play the 8-8 Chargers and the 9-7 Cardinals?

I can understand (almost) the need for division winners getting in the playoffs regardless of record, but the team with the best record regardless of whether they're the wildcard or not ought to have home field advantage.

And baseball now is worse: home field advantage based on who won the All-Star Game?

Bad enough we have "teh stupid" in politics, I'd rather not have it in sports.

Those Vikings tix would have sold more quickly if America's Team had not been utterly destroyed in the last game. I hope the seats are taken by noisy Iggles fans who make the trip.

There's no way either team sells out - even with the extension. Tickets at places like TicketStumbler and Stubhub are already going for below face value.

This is all about the economy. Minnesota is struggling because a bunch of season ticket holders opted out of paying $200 a ticket for seats. We haven't had a blackout this season, but season tix were all bought before the bottom dropped out. I doubt areas like New York will have trouble selling out, but I wouldn't be surprised to find out that Carolina is struggling next week; people don't have money. That makes it hard to buy tickets.

It's probably that the Cardinals have been garbage forever, and frankly, still are. Los Angeles still in the market for a franchise? Though with a better mascot and uniforms?

Minnesota... man, who knows.

If you can't sell out in the playoffs, you shouldn't have a team.
