The Recession Debate Is Over
There ain’t no recession.
…
The recession debate is over. It’s not gonna happen. Time to move on.
A US recession began in December 2007, a panel of economists charged with the official designation of business cycles said Monday.
The Business Cycle Dating Committee of the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) said it made the determination during a conference call on Friday.
Perhaps we’ll quit listening to ex-junkie Reagan officials who push financial nonsense on-air. NBC Universal (Kudlow has a show on CNBC) is letting go 500 people, perhaps they ought to add a quality filter to those staff reductions.
Oh yeah, Kudlow also believes the downturn is the fault of poor people.

I liked him better as the ditzy folksinger on Friends.
Kudlow will sit up there on CNBC and simply work to out shout everybody:
‘Drill. Drill. Drill.’ was his mantra when people actually cared about oil prices.
Actually it’s not the poor people to blame…it’s Clinton’s fault (as it’s always been). Shrubby said so (in not so many words) so it MUST be true.
Some of you need to understand the concept of “lying one’s ass off for monetary and political gain” and that some people are more than capable of doing exactly that. Also you should understand that some people can do so very well and for very long periods of time.

Perhaps someone can roll the tape of Barney Frank discussing Fannie Mae.
Or look back at just about any of AO’s posts.
Since the financial market media is about fanning the flames of fear and greed, Kudlow and his ilk are some of most egregious flame fanners.
It’s all a game to these guys and they’re happy to lie to protect their positions.
