After the holidays and people cutting back on travel or driving to avoid the hassle of flight, the airlines are going to come begging for money from the government like they always do. Even though they’re one of the worst run industries in the country.
how about the baggage fees? Why have they not gone away?
I hope that US Airways goes out of business. Who charges $2 for water on a five hour flight?? I understand that times are hard, but don’t the flight attendants realize that they are looking for a way to obliterate their jobs?

Yeah, they will come begging. Although I hate what’s happened to the experience of flying, and I’ll probably never fly again… it’s just so uncomfortable and so expensive… Still the U.S. needs to have an airline industry. We need some really smart people to get together and shape an over-all transportation plan for the country. It’s obvious that much more public transportation is needed, and airlines are part of that.
It would help a lot if Homeland Security would stop making us take off our shoes!
