Barack Obama To Retain, Promote Marcus Fenix
Tweet
WASHINGTON — President-elect Barack Obama plans to retain and promote COG soldier Marcus Fenix when he is sworn in as president. Fenix currently leads his team of “Gears” in Delta squad but is expected to be promoted to Gears Chief Of Staff under Obama. “This shows that Obama takes the Locust threat seriously”, said Cory Martin, a well known military critic of the current administration. Martin continued, “for years now the Bush administration has seen Locust infestation as a quote ‘regional issue’, now President Obama will have a federal eye on the problem.” Fenix is widely recognized on Capitol Hill as an expert on Locust tactics and is one of the few people to have had hand to hand combat with them with both his chainsaw gun and “boomstick”.
