We're all giddy with excitement for the inaguration. I still smile every time I read, or hear news stories with the phrase "President-elect Barak Obama". I took my daughter to The Museum of Science and Industry yesterday - and driving past the Hyde Park neighborhood said to my wife "We're going through Obama Country!" Was exciting to think the First Family-elect was going through their Saturday morning routine just a few blocks away... I can imagine the feeling Oliver – it must be great. The Democrats ran a juggernaut of a candidate. If they'd run a cupcake like Sen. Kerry (much as I respect the guy) it could have just as easily gone the other way.
