Actually, I think Bush’s briefings are written and read to him in the style of Vonnegut Jr.’s “Breakfast of Champions.”

That wasn’t a cartoon, that was a legit news report. President George Bush, Jr. had too much trouble grasping the nuanced meaning many of his PDB’s, at one time saying that the August 6, 2001 briefing, “Osama Bin Laden Determined to Strike in U.S.,” was “too confusing wordily.”

(Actual totally for real truth about Bush and PDB’s: It’s actually been reported that he has the briefs condensed and read to him. Why? Who knows. Perhaps he wants to forever cement his legacy as worst, least qualified, and most incurious President (technically) all time. That’s the most plausible reason, anyway.)

its on us now and to have his back we need to be critical and supportive, Obama has yet to deal with the structrual concerns of our economy in his proposals on the campaign trail , nor has Paulson or Bernake, we all just a Pay check away from a pink slip

Bush has demonstrated a marked lack of brain power and incredible dis-interest in intellectual pursuits and comic book reading would reinforce that.

Which is of course a prejudice against comic books that comic book readers deal with often, but that’s neither here nor there.

Remember, though, Bush has read The Stranger. Allegedly.
