They ate at Spiagga. I could only afford to eat at it’s poorer cousin – Cafe Spiagga.
Am I allowed to say that Michelle’s got that classy sexy going on?
He’s got that after dinner I sure would love a cigarette look in his eyes. (Been there.)
A President of the people, by the people and for the people.
Lovin’ it.
I don’t think the crop of the original photo quite does the couple or the image justice:

Looking at this picture I’m thinking the South Park Ocean’s 11 spoof was more dead-on than even they intended.
The Obama’s are just cool as hell.
Michelle looks alive unlike Laura who looks like a psychotropic drug addict
Washington is finally cool. Real smiles from real people. What a relief.
Laura and George are a bit notorious in DC for never going out within the city. That’s certainly their prerogative, but it’s a little strange IMO. Of course, now with his dismal approval rating he’d probably get heckled no matter where he went.
It’s seems that Obama’s victory might very well divide us more than ever before. Surprisingly it’s not his opponents that are broadening the division but his supporters.
This could be their last “normal” outing for years. “The Field Negro” website cautions “NOW PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR HOUSE UNTIL AFTER THE INAUGURATION.” I share his caution, but after all those huge crowds, why worry now?
But the ELEGANCE of this couple! We had Camelot already. I’m waiting for a new tag for this one. The GQ Presidency accounts for only half of it.
The Obamas are the rockingest couple in politics.
Don’t let your love for obama turn into obsession.
