The family portrait will be incomplete until it includes the puppy.
I heard Oprah’s going to give everybody one
.
What do they get, and what do they name him/her?
Finally, a first family we can be proud of again.
That is my President and his family.
I beg to differ O. It was a dream. A dream expressed on 8-28-63 by a 34-year old Atlantan, that his four little children would one day live in a nation where they would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
A man who was rumored to have been educated in a madrasah, who many voters received e-mails stating he was not only a Muslim, but a socialist (are socialists religious), with the middle name “Hussein”, and a surname that rhymes with “Osama”, defeated a former POW whose father and grandfather were admirals.
Tell it to Hollywood.
I know the challenges that lie ahead, but just for today, I won’t let myself feel anything but pure delight. We took our country back! Fuck yeah!
I agree with Steve LaBonne! We DID take our country back.
YES WE DID!!
It does feel like a dream, doesn’t it? The feeling in NYC is pure jubilation.
I’m just wondering how long it will take for these goosebumps to go away. Is it safe to have goosebumps for 12 hours straight?
After four hours, you should tell your doctor. And then call up all of your friends to brag.
First: WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Next: What’s more adorable than two cute little girls? Two little girls and a puppy! And last night the president-elect did mention that he would fulfill his campaign promise to give his little girls a puppy.
Yup, I can’t wait to see the First Puppy.
>Oh Thank God It Wasn’t A Dream
I thought the same thing when I woke up. I immediately turned on CNN, something I never do, to check:
1) It wasn’t dream
2) He hadn’t been assassinated.
BTW, as historic as this is, America did not overwhelming vote for an African-American candidate, we voted for a candidate who has the all the skills to lead us out of the nightmare of the culture of ignorance and bellicosity that has ruined our country for 8 years.
p.s. Fuck bi-partisanship, we need to put these criminals in the Hague where they can have a fair trial for their crimes against humanity.
