So, Sen. McCain is going to hold rallies on election day in New Mexico and Colorado. Tell me if I’m wrong, but shouldn’t the McCain camp be more concerned with getting New Mexico and Colorado voters to the polls rather than to a rally to hear the stump speech again? I could be wrong, but on election day don’t candidates usually go to their home state to vote then to whatever venue the election night party is going to be in?
I’m honestly asking.
Aren’t 60% of ballots in those states already cast, and HEAVILY favoring O? VA/PA/MO would be smarter. A fitting end to a disastrous campaign.
“middle class tax cuts are welfare! McCain not Hussein”-McCain at his rallies
One word.
MAVERICK.
one word.
MAVER … Doh!
I don’t understand how anyone in this great country can vote for a fish for president. All my life the choice has been between humans and one aberration of a stuffed bear. But now, to put a fish on the ballot instead of on your dinner plate? So when you go to vote, do not cast your vote for a cold scaly wiggly gill-breather. Vote for the human. Human! Not mackerel.
[Miss Middertella that's MAVERICK not Mackerel]
What? Maverick? John McCain? Oh. Sorry. Nevermin… he’s still cold and scaly.
Well no one ever said he was smart.
High voter turnout will not help McCain, especially since the demographics show younger voters nationwide having a wider margin of favor for Obama. (I’m not saying that Utah kiddies will vote for Obama; just that more of them will be inclined to call him their president than call him a dozen various racial slurs.)
But like Brian said, it is an odd choice of states. He should be focusing on battlegrounds where he still might convince a few more voters through his message of divisiveness and fear.
Knowing his ancient ass, he either had his staffers fill out an absentee ballot or forgot he had to vote or realized that the Mccain of 2000 wouldn’t vote for the Mccain of 2008.
I hope his voting machine flips his vote.
Obama’s doing a rally in Indiana today…at least that’s what the news here in Chicago said last night
I had a very vivid nightmare last night.
I woke up (I mean I dreamed I woke up) on election night and turned the tellybox on to check on the result, and McCain had won (512 to 221, and yes I know that’s impossible). There he was smiling his creepy melted rictus and waving (kinda) to the cheering crowds. And it wasn’t just that McCain had won, it was that Obama had lost. And we’d not hear from him again. There he was onscreen, practically in tears. A great man had fallen and we’d failed him.
Worst dream I ever had. Now I have to keep reminding myself of how likely it is that Obama will actually win.
Just remember, even when Obama wins, it ain’t over. He’s a moderate surrounded by conservative businesspeople. He’s dealing with a Senate that is still run by Harry “I never met a Republican I wouldn’t bend over for” Reid. The Republicans will still work in lockstep to kill any reasonable legislation. And Obama himself intends to keep much of the troops in Iraq, while fighting the war in Afghanistan.
There is a long, long, long, long, long row to hoe ahead. Progressives won’t be in charge. The DC crowd will still be around. We’ve got plenty of work to do.
But with Obama in, and a few of the worst scum out, the task will be a bit lighter. Good to see it.
Who can figure John McCain. This run for the White House has been his to lose since he chose Palin. It has been his to lose since his group planted Joe The Plumber, and his to lose since he has stayed on that fraudulent point.
It was his to lose when he opened his mouth on Acorn. He couldn’t get that to stick but he stayed on the point.
And stumping today of all days doesn’t make any sense either.
This run was his to lose with all the negative campaigning. Someone said it best here when they mentioned that the old John McCain would not vote for this new one.
With every point he has made that has been proven wrong, he sets himself up for the loss by staying on that point.
Early on I thought that if America was paying attention that there would be low voter turn out. There wasn’t a need to pay attention, Obama took to the center on many issues, such as FISA and other things.
At this point right here Americans, including those republicans in name only the RINO’s have taken notice. And I do not think they like what they see. Obama may just pick them up.
If Obama loses I will definitely join the chorus of “foul”. If McCain loses I will laugh my ass off when the republicans do.
But when they do, they better as HELL not get away with it. Cease and resist idiots. Go back to the playground and give Washington back to the adults.

“I had a very vivid nightmare last night.”
So did I. Mine was about a large group of WoW fanatics who had dressed up like zombies and were attacking houses in my neighbourhood.
For some strange reason all my dreams end in death.

MAVERDICK
Oliver, McCain and Palin have translated responses to their comedy club one liners = votes. McCain creepy smiles after each punch -even if the subject was a dire one – suggests a guy gone totally delusional enough to believe his own propoganda.
Don’t ya think if he thought Obama was truly a danger to the country he’d have screamed for security at the Capitol long ago??
As much as they’d like to forget, their voters are still the same Bush babies who’d rather see their President lounging around the White House porch having a beer, with a gun slung over his shoulder, rather than reading up on how to handle a deadly weapon.
To get right into answering your question, McCain is the male counterpart to Omarosa on Trumps’ show The Apprentice. He had a lot going for him in the beginning, but in the end turned into nasty b**tard, when things weren’t going his way.
He knows what’s in store..wouldn’t you stall too??
