   beautiful video-powerful and motivating, just like the obama candidacy. i do have hope the world is shifting, that i am once again part of the majority in my country. i have come home again–thank you, obama! (and thank you, oliver, for posting this video!)

   It amazes me how emotional I become watching this man. I don’t know if it’s the symbolism an Obama presidency brings or just the power in the message he conveys so eloquently whenever he speaks. Whatever the case may be…I’m going to be an emotional wreck Tuesday night. YES, WE CAN!

   I have to say that whoever did the emblem(?), logo(?) for the campaign deserves some kind of an award. Simple. Evocative. (Sunrise; red, white, and blue; waving flag/fields.) Beautiful.

   I remember watching the youtube of the speech they used (September 18, in the rain in Virginia, if you want to find it). It was powerful even before the volunteers and the music were spliced in.

   And yes, the graphic design of this campaign is completely unlike anything I’ve ever seen – for a politician or for a commercial product. Thing is, it’s been the same for well over a year and a half, and yet the R’s somehow haven’t come up with their own version. Weird.
