But another reason not to get complacent: all those “undecideds” who will vote for McCain. Their minds (so to speak) formed by rumor, innuendo, misinformation, disinformation, bias, and something they heard about his having been a “war hero.”
McCain even said that. Something to the effect that they’re right where they want to be in the run up to election day–right where I want them to be as well.
Historically only about 50% of undecided registered voters this late in the game bother to vote at all, vs. 85-88% of ALL registered voters – so even if McCain gets every single undecided voter that bothers to show up he still loses – big time.
