He calls Obama “chicken shit”. Of course, that’s the kind of temperament that will keep Boehner a minority leader.

I don’t think he will be the minority leader for long. He’s shown no leadership skills. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ‘decided’ to retire from politics and become a Lobbyist.

Why I might have used the yellow button often myself:

    1. a good bill with lousy riders

    2. a good cause but lousy bill

    3. a good bill but lousily written

    4. the public not understanding how bills aren’t cases of simple black-and-white

    5. being able to foresee how chickenshit enemies would use your vote against you

  3. Chris says:

That’ll be President Chickenshit to you, chuckles.

  4. Parthenon says:

And then the next time there’s a Republican president, these same people will scream and howl about anything a Democrat says that’s remotely related to the same stuff they’d been doing all along. Ex: Referring to the troops in the Balkans in the nineties as ‘Clinton’s Army’ and ‘His forces,’ while claiming Democrats don’t support the troops in Iraq or Afghanistan.

    (/double-standard police)

  5. jr says:

the skin bronzer seeped into his brain

  6. merl says:

It seems to me that a man who is always crying on TV should shut his fucking mouth.

  7. Thad says:

    Gonna cry, Boehner? Gonna cry?

  8. Balakirev says:

Come on, now! We’re all disgusted with Boehner’s politics tactics on and off the floor of the House, but he’s proven popular and successful in stopping majority legislation and getting corporate media attention. His “attack dog” mentality fits exactly into where his party has been since Saint Newt rewrote it back in the 1990s, and it’s done them very well, up until now. It’s safe to say that if Bush and the economic meltdown hadn’t come along, the low blow approach to ruling would still be working for them.

So let’s not dis Boehner incorrectly. He’s very effective at what he does. Let’s dis him for his stinking ethics, and let’s dis the system that fosters this kind of trash talk and action.
