Because Obama isn’t trusting. He does a check of identity after the donation is received instead of before. That doesn’t mean he is more trusting; it means he is putting the burden on his campaign to do the check instead of on the donor.
Maybe you’re right, PG. I see that Obama is returning his aunt’s donation to his campaign now that he’s suddenly realized she is an illegal alien after he read it in a newspaper. Sherlock Holmes that guy is.

If you think Obama reads the name of every person who contributes to his campaign, you’ve allowed your desire to find negatives about him to overtake any semblance of reality, and I find that very sad. Ditto if you think the person whose job that actually is knows the name of every member of Obama’s extended family and which of them are American citizens or permanent residents, and which aren’t.
