Black vote turning out like gangbusters. Somehow, I don’t think they’re voting for Sen. McCain.

    Why should they vote GOP? Neither Bush II nor Reagan gave a whit about them, and both encouraged spin docs such as Atwater & Rove to appeal to whites only via msgs. such as “Willie Horton”.

    And yet, despite that, that edge isn’t showing up in the polls. That could mean:

    A) polling sucks (entirely possible, though that’d be worse news for Obama than it would McCain)
    B) there’s a lot more PUMAs out there than the media is willing to admit.

    We’ll know in 5 days … maybe.

    This. At least the first part.

    I’ve seen polls from some states that show the African American vote going down this year. There is zero fucking way that will be true, outside of massive vote suppression.
