    Charles understandably got choked up when he started talking of his own inevitable demise, but he looks pretty damn sturdy for a fella born in ‘22.

    Long live Charles! He sounds like someone I’d love to hear talk about the things he’s seen in life. A wonderful inspiration to the hard-working youngsters at Obama HQ.

    With all the crap I’m digesting from the news these days, I sure could use more ‘Charles’ stories.

    I know Charles got Barack. What’s also nice is that I know Barack–for all his meeting hundreds of people–must have got Charles.
