Obama was talking about judges recognizing the similarities between segregation and Nazism. They did. The world changed as a result. He wasn’t saying that segregation equaled the atrocities in Germany. He wasn’t saying the holocaust didn’t happen.

Counting slaves as 3/5 of a person was for purposes of determining representation. It was the southern, slave states that wanted to count them as ‘full people’, since that would expand the number of representatives they received.
