The Silence In Detroit
Tweet
In years now, I have not heard a stadium as silent in the NFL as Detroit’s. Even when they were ahead of the Redskins – there was hardly a sound there. Even in seasons when the Skins have been putrid, and there have been a few in the last decade in a half, never was Fedex Field as silent as Detroit is today.
The Redskins keep letting these teams hang in the game. They’re up 22-10 right now, and look good but still, I wish they would just knock someone’s lights out.
UPDATE: Woooh! 6-2.

Still no bad wins in the
National
Football
League.
But some wins are better than others. As with other recent ‘Skins wins, this was not one of the better ones.
Bucs let me down too. Things could be worse. It could be raining.
Detroit needs to fire everybody except Calvin Johnson, blow up the roster and soak up every draft pick they can get their hands on. Bring in hungry youngsters that want to play together. That franchise needs an enema, a complete culture change.
Good on the Skins. Since New York lost to Cleveland, they’re keeping pace.
As an old philosopher Darrell Green once said: “Ther ain’t no such thing as an ugly win”.
There are commenters who can’t spel or type, though.
