McCain campaign buying ad time… in Indiana!
13 days before the election, the McCain campaign has decided to spend several hundred thousands dollars on a last-minute television buy in the state of Indiana.
This is the first time in a month that the campaign has spent its own money on television in the Hoosier state.
George W. Bush won Indiana by 20%.
The McCain campaign is either in really in trouble, really stupid, or really in trouble because they’re really stupid.
I’m going with the last one.
I’m thinking they’re in trouble because Mr. Obama raised several boatloads of cash and applied a good strategy with it.
C’mon, faffer. Some props for our guy, eh?
…what fafaroo said (LOL)
I love how you’re pretending that Obama’s house isn’t 15 miles from the Indiana border. Indiana is practically a 2nd home state for him.
HAHAHAHAHA! Ferris, you crack me up. Obama might win Indiana because of his proximity to the state. Hilarious. Are you of the opinion that Palin has foreign policy experience because she lives close to Russia and Canada? Do you think that McCain is going to do well in California, New Mexico, or Colorado? After all, Arizona is RIGHT THERE, MAN!
What a doofus.
“I love how you’re pretending that Obama’s house isn’t 15 miles from the Indiana border.”
He can also see Russia from there.
So using Farris’ math, McCain must be winning easily in New Mexico and Nevada, right?
And of course the only reason Pennsylvania “leans” blue is because we share a border with Delaware.
Oliver, you’re wrong.. using Farris’s math McCain should carry California, Virgina, Colorado, etc. after all he has houses in all of them.
I’m surprised they have any money left after Barbie’s shopping spree.
This is what I thought of when I heard McCain say “We’ve got them right where we want them.”
And Socraticsilence with the best comeback!
Do Phoenix, Albequerque, and Las Vegas share the same media markets?
Do Chicago and Gary?
Do Phoenix, Albequerque, and Las Vegas share the same media markets?
Yes. Yes, they do. What’s your point?
Your 15-mile theory is laughable. I know this because I, as a resident of Illinois who understands the vast cultural/political gulf between these neighboring states, am laughing at it.
Illinois also shares a border with Kentucky. This isn’t a game of “Othello.”
“Do Phoenix, Albequerque, and Las Vegas share the same media markets?
Do Chicago and Gary?”
I know you are desperate, and stupid, but now is the time for you to just shut up.
20% of the state shared a media market will Chicago. Bush won by 20 points. That doesn’t mean those two cancel out.
By the way, if it was not a surprise that the race was so close here, McCain would have been buying ad time the whole time. This is something new. This bodes poorly for McCain.
