You really think evangelicals have jumped 21% in 4 years?

I dunno. Given what's been happening in those last 4 years I've been tempted to start praying.

The numbers I've seen show the percentage at 23%. You really think evangelicals have jumped 21% in 4 years? Not likely.

44% of the country evangelicals? Maybe not, but 44% of VOTERS being evangelical wouldn't be a jaw dropper.

While Zogby's internet polls are shite, his regular polls are not that bad. Not among the best, but acceptable.

"The right wants to have it both ways. They want the polls to be gospel truth when they showed Bush at 90% approval, when there was a slight majority in favor of war in Iraq, and when they show John McCain in the lead as they did after the convention. Otherwise, the low approval for Bush, the opposition to war in Iraq, and Barack Obama’s lead in the polls are all inventions of the liberal plot."

In fairness, I think a lot of liberals play the double-standard game too -- I do my best to examine polls impartially, but it's human nature to point at evidence that supports your views and ignore evidence that refutes them. (I think studies show this is about even between self-described Democrats and Republicans -- I guess that's part of why I call myself an independent even though I'm registered Democratic, because frankly I think nearly every Democrat in Congress deserves a punch in the gut. My own Rep included.)
