Kristol is so delusional that in an election year when Obama’s primary opponent was questioned about whether Obama was really a Muslim, and his general election opponent reluctantly had to correct a supporter who said she distrusted Obama because he was an “Arab,” Kristol still can write today, “Sept. 11 did not result in a much-feared (by intellectuals) wave of popular Islamophobia or xenophobia.”

So when Rush Limbaugh is talking about Obama’s being Arab, and my mom (herself foreign-born and non-Christian) is getting emails from friends about how Obama is secretly a Muslim, and Al Jazeera (English) is interviewing voters who vaguely connect Sept. 11 with Obama’s otherness and why they won’t vote for him…

Yeah, no Islamophobia and xenophobia here. Move along, nothing to see.

Why does anyone listen to Bill Kristol? Why does anyone pay him for his “opinions” in the first place?

Rhetorical question I realize. He’s the poster-boy for Wingnut Wellfare. Wrong about every possible thing, always, yet somehow he’s kept around to “balance” things out.

Too soon. Red Sox fans are smarting right now. Please don’t equate douchebag McCain with the Sox. It’s just mean. The Dodgers would be better. They lost in a shorter series and had none of the spunk of the Sox to come back in that the Sox needed only three runs to get to the series. The Rays/Obama thingy works. They have 9 number 1 starting pitchers.

We Sox fans weren’t delusional about our chances. Our team just maximized on the potential but fell short to a very good team that plays in a very bad stadium and wear just awful uniforms. That and they changed their name to not offend the weirdo Christians.
