$150 Million Strong For Barack Obama

Ding

The Obama campaign announced this morning that it had raised a record $150 million last month, and had added 632,000 new donors to its total.

The amount shattered the campaign’s previous record from August. The McCain campaign also had a record-breaking month in August, but is now operating with the $84 million provided by public financing for the general cycle and assistance from the Republican National Committee under certain limits.

More cowbell, please.

Wow, amazing! George Soros actually manged to forge six hundred thousand small-donor identities to put on Obama contributions. I’ll his arm is really tired. That should keep him from flying around the country for a while.

Hmm… how much of that came from foreign places (such as the Gaza Strip)? How much of that came from stolen credit cards? How much from Mr. Doodad Pro and Mr. Good Will? How much was donated by Ms. laksdenke uwriouwerpo of wyerkkonek, Illinois?

That’s close to double of McCain’s entire election budget. I wonder why? Oh, yeah. McCain and Obama both promised to limit themselves to public funding. And then Obama realized that he could raise a hell of a lot more, so that promise ended up in the same place as Tony Rezko and Jeremiah Wright and Bill Ayers.

With all that money , why isn’t Obama utterly blowing McCain away in the polls?

I guess some things aren’t for sale after all.

    Unsuccessful McCain ads?

  7. Dee Vee says:

Yeah Jay Tea, all those negroes stealing those credit cards and donating to Obama! McCain could have easily opted out of public funding himself. As for Rezko, Wright and Bill Ayers, the right wing’s completely ridiculous Obama tie-ins, McCain can actually be tied with real facts to Thomas Keating and Bud Paxson to say nothing of Ms. Palin. Apart from her dubious beliefs and/or lack of enough knowledge to be a vice-president (or dogcatcher) she and Todd are definitely linked to Joe Vogler and his separatist Alaskan Independence Party. Todd was a member, Sarah probably was, but definitely welcomed the party to their convention, officially, as Alaska’s governor. Vogler, who’s hatred of the USA is well-documented and was a classic domestic terrorist, got himself killed trying to buy plastic explosives. As far as dubious religious interactions, who can forget Sarah’s being “de-witched” on video 3 years ago on stage at her church by some looney evangelist. As for ethics, how can we forget that she was FOUND GUILTY of abusing her power as governor by a predominately Republican legislative committee in the “Troopergate” fiasco. So, enough of the “holier-than-thou” hypocrisy.

That great whooshing sound? It’s the bullet train of INEVITABILITY bearing down on the asses of McCain and his sorry lot of supporters.

Welcome to the Obama Era, boys and girls. After you get over your little hissy fits, you may just like it.

    “CA-aan…you…DIG IT??!!”

Well why don’t you tell us? You seem to know something here. Please edify us with some links and provable assertions. Thanks in advance.

ed, if I post more than a single link, my comments tend to get caught by the Moderation Monster… and never seem to be released.

But if you haven’t heard about them, lemme give you enough details to verify it for yourself.

Steve and Rachel Larman of North Kansas City discovered that their credit card had been used to donate $2300 to Obama.

“Mr. Good Will” gave Obama over $11,000. Mr. “Doodad Pro” gave over $17,000 — all in small increments.

As far as the gibberish names on donations… most stories that talk about “Good Will” and “Doodad Pro” mention those as well.

Sounds pretty evil and nefarious to me. And to think that those rich fools who give the evil Obama all that dough will quite possibly pay more in taxes under an Obama administration. Jokes on them!

  15. Quaker in a Basement says:

Well, let’s assume all that happened again this month, Mr. Tea. That would bring Mr. Obama’s legitimate total down to what?

I declare I have never seen anyone play the victim so pitifully.

  16. Sean D. Martin says:

Hey, JT. Is Obama’s campaign keeping the money donated by the Good Wills and Doodad Pros? If the amounts from any even slightly suspect donor is excluded, does it reduce the $150 million or 623k new donors by any significant amount? If it’s only $100 million and 500k new donors, doesn’t it remain an very significant accomplishment and story? Is every single one of the donations made to McCain’s campaign above reproach?
