Rachel Maddow can’t understand what the hell Sarah Palin is saying either.

Somebody else figured this out. She’s Nell.

I’m sorry to say that I think I do understand it. Taking a shot may refer to what you do when McCain says My Friends or Middle Class; but it can also mean taking a hit, as the fans of violent sports well know. So, in politics, in a heated campaign, you take a lot of shots, political shots; but she wants us to know that she has a lot of hit points left (and she’s 10 against reasoned argument); so she and her running mate can rise above all that.

So I can make out what Palin means; what does that say about me? I like to think it shows the power of my anaytical abilities and the depth of my semantic imagination, a term I just made up. Or else, you know, it takes one to understand one.

Yeah, I understand her too. She speaks a bunch of crap, but this made sense to me. She means that, though she is being made fun of by SNL, she will be a good sport and be on the show.

Palin= Boomhauer from King of the Hill

10 bucks says she chickens out at the last minute, citing “prior commitments” or “time constraints”.

  5. Porlock Junior says:

Oh boy, this clever blogging software left me saying that Palin is a 10 or something. Why can’t I say she is PLUS TEN against reasoned argument without spelling it out or having the *plus* sign disappear?

  6. Randy Brown says:

Sally Palin reminds me a bit of Sally Fields’ Sybil.

Also, the preview thingy isn’t working…

  7. Randy Brown says:

    Now it’s working…never mind.

  8. Duros Hussein 62 says:

“..we will rise above the shots we take”?

Does that mean she’s admitting that they’re wallowing in the mud?

“Does that mean that she’s admitting that they’re wallowing in the mud”?

She probably meant “..we have been taking”.
