In the angry mob’s defense, the reporter was trying to ask a question.

Prob’ly one of those “gotcha” questions too.

  3. SaveFarris says:

Are you still supporting Al Franken?

    IOKIYAD.

Is Franken still running against Norm Coleman? Well OK, then.

(Key reason to vote for Franken: He wrote what may well be the funniest skit in SNL history)

And rethuglicans think all Dems are wimps. HAH!

SF: And what Franken did is a problem? How?

He committed assault and battery with no excuse such as self-defense. I dislike the LaRouchites, but the fact they were yelling at a Dean rally doesn’t justify committing a violent crime against them.

So you excuse conservatives for kicking reporters. It’s OK for conservatives because conservatives cannot do wrong because conservatives are better than the rest of us, and have you mentioned yet how conservative you are?

    Scumbags.

Well, Farris brings up a decent point.

Both Mr. Franken and the unnamed, bearded man mentioned in this story responded in a violent and irresponsible way to a provocation.

Mr. Franken, if I recall, got into a confrontation with hecklers trying to disrupt a candidate’s campaign event.

Mr. Beardo kicked a reporter who was doing his job. He was provoked, not by the reporter, but by the candidate who routinely faults “the media elite” or the “mainstream media” for her own inability to answer simple questions.

Both wrong. Not at all the same.
