That’s what 2 years of close study have led my wife and I to conclude. But as the editorial says, Obama will inherit such a mess that he may succeed in being only a fine president.

But SO MUCH will be made right by his merely taking the Oath…

Mylegacy is bang on. I’m up in Canada and everybody I know is for Obama. I also know plenty of expat Americans who already voted for Obama. Unfortunately, we just elected a Bush Prime Minister, thankfully as a Minority government. Two more years.

Thrilled that WaPo has given a thoughtful (and well-deserved) endorsement to the one candidate who truly has the intelligence, temperament, wisdom, compassion and talent to lead the United States into the 21st century and to remind all of us just how wonderful our country can be.

In my lifetime, this is the first time I feel connected to the importance of the political process – and I consider myself honored to be witnessing the historic election of Barack Obama to the office of the Presidency.

The editorial board of the WaPo has shifted hard to the right over the past ten years, and even they can’t bring themselves to endorse the absolute joke of a Palin/McCain ticket.

Lovely endorsement.

I have family in Canada and England. They tell me the world is crying out for Obama to win. Interestingly, they say if Barack does win that the world WANTS to be on the US’ side but they HATE the neo-con insanity. All Barack has to do is approach the world the way he’s approached the American people and America will be back to being admired.

Hope so. T\They say the THREAT to America is NOT a THREAT to America – it’s a threat to the Western World. Bush has managed to so alienate our REAL friends that we think we’re going it alone.

Just think, a world where America LEADS by the power of it’s arguments and the beacon of it’s actions. Now that’s priceless!
