Every picture I’ve seen on a blog and every MSM news story shows the idiots at a Palin rally.

You’re right, those idiots should have been demonstrating their stupidity at an Obama rally, like those “Palin is a Cunt” t-shirt wearers were doing at a Palin rally.

You’ll have to tell me when you find a picture that documents that those t-shirts were visible to Obama at any point.

And maybe you could find a picture that documents people wearing “Obama is a Nigger” t-shirts at a rally visible to McCain or Palin at any point. It shouldn’t be that difficult, right? I mean, with all that rampant racism going on at their rallies.

Oh, the Dems will find a way to fuck things up soon enough. But they’ll do it out of mere incompetence, not an insane cognitive dissonance between two factions who have completely different ideological goals.

I will not tolerate that kind of talk. It ain’t over. The Republicans are working overtime with bogus voter fraud bulljive to mask voter supression and are acting like the cornered rats they are to retain power. Who knows what can happen between now and November 4. One thing which has to happen is a concerted Get Out the Vote effort for Obama and on down the tickets. No hop to it!

The fracture between the Wall Street conservatives and the fundy conservaties is almost complete. It will become final in November when McCain loses in a landslide and both houses of Congress go more Democratic than ever before.

This is was kos has been talking about — let’s not just win, let’s destroy the party of Atwater, Thurmond, Bush, Cheney, Nixon, etc. Thing is, it isn’t just rhetoric. Reagan had the political chops to bring these two groups together, but nobody in the party can do it now. Bush II did it to get elected, but he also happened to be the worst president ever. We could very well see the Republican party splinter into a Jesus faction (Huckabee, Palin) and a fiscal conservative one (Romney, Giuliani). But these two groups ain’t going to fit under the same tent any longer.
