Racial Hate In Full Bloom At Palin Rally In Ohio

This is your modern Republican party.

“I’m afraid if he wins, the blacks will take over. He’s not a Christian! This is a Christian nation! What is our country gonna end up like?”

“When you got a negro running for president, you need a first stringer. He’s definitely a second stringer.”

  2. ed says:

Thanks again Republican party and their many many helpful assistants (hi Dennis!). Mission accomplished.

  3. SpiderJ says:

Yes, william. Al-Jazeera forced those people to say what they said. They’re all professional, Oscar-winning actors, hired by al-Jazeera, which is why they’re so believable.

  4. Mylegacy says:

Meet the fundy/Racist/redneck/uneducated/morons, today’s Republican party.

AND – even MORE SCARY that group adds up to over 40% of America. Trying to get over 50% from the 60% remaining is REALLY TOUGH – as the past 30 odd years show.

GET THE F*CK OUT AND KEEP WORKING!!!!!!

We have to EDUCATE the stupid and CONVERT the fundies. IF WE DON’T – EVERY ELECTION IN AMERICA will be fought against STUPIDITY/IGNORANCE on one side and the Modern World on the other hand.

Those of you that are Christians have to stop being enablers to the fundies – YOU have to take those ass*oles HEAD ON and show them the error of their way…once you do that we agnostics/athiests will take you guys on and get you to reject the millions of gods you already reject – plus one more – yours. Ignorance, anti-science religious mornons are KILLING this country!

If America was materially agnostic/athiest like the rest of the western world – WOW what a country this would be – religion is just shorthand for bigotry – stupidity – anti-science – bulls*it.

Not very PC (sorry) – BUT I feel better now.

  6. Uh- if Obama’s not a Christian, why was he listening to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, as some righty voters and pundits are fond of pointing out, “…for 20 years…”

Christian: definition- killing all the Native Americans

  7. Roschelle says:

Oops….excuse me I thought this was America. But after viewing a video like that…one can only wonder. I knew racism existed. It’s not something that will ever readily go away until people stop teaching it to their children…

  8. Manny says:

What a bunch of FCUKEN Racist REDNECKS. At least they took their KKK hoods off.

When the F did Obama call them “TRASH”?

McCain is PATHETIC. He denounces stuff but let’s his campaign do whatever they want. If McCain wins, it will show the world who we really are – intolerant, racist, egotistic fascist

Bijan: Uh- if Obama’s not a Christian, why was he listening to Rev. Jeremiah Wright, as some righty voters and pundits are fond of pointing out, “…for 20 years…”

Now there ya go again. Asking these people to make sense.

  11. Oh. My. God.

I am embarrassed to be an American today.

  12. Welcome to America says:

This is not new or surprising. Just remember John McCain says he’s “VERY PROUD” of the people that come to his rallies. Maybe I’ll find me a first string Negro and start a professional basketball team. I hate people

The hornets buzzing in william’s (et al) brain must be downright deafening.

Unlesss he’s some sort of ironic fake troll. It’s getting hard to tell.

  17. Mylegacy says:

Er… I wanna apologize to the site…er sort of… I was over the top in my comments above about religion.

Fundies are a problem NOT because they believe the Bible but because they believe LITERALLY all of their book is EQUAL in weight. They’ll quote an old testament verse about how slaves should act, for instance… this is how Christians concluded God was FOR slavery… and give it the same WEIGHT as Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. Modern Christians understand that the book is a 5,000 year old MYTH – about how to live, combined with a 2,000 year old MYTH about how to get rid of most of the bad stuff from the older MYTH and modernize the MYTH.

There is nothing wrong with trying to make sense of the world and our place in it. Most religions are engaged with that struggle in an admirable way. However, FUNDIE believers in Islam, Christianity, Hinduism etc. make this world a scary place. When you STUDY your religion – keep your BRAIN engaged… after all didn’t your God give you that?

Yeah, but you can’t. They won’t go. they can’t let go of their irrational beliefs no matter how kooky they look to us. That’s what MAKES them Fundamentalists.

Look, I’m an atheist and no longer afraid to say it. However, I very often feel I live a more Christian life than a lot of the so-called “faithful.” It isn’t about which story you choose to believe, it’s how you live your life.

  23. MrGreyGhost says:

So applying OW’s “logic” here, shouldn’t we say too that the 4 idiots who wore “Sarah Palin is a c*nt” t-shirts at that Obama rally the other day are representative of the entire Dem party? Or how about those “Abort Palin” signs seen at BO rally’s? Gotta love the libs and their fake outrage.

  25. Syco says:

was anything they said actually true?

  26. SpiderJ says:

Gee, why am I not surprised by the continuing parade of false equivalency.

Look, if it makes you feel better, Grey…those four youngsters are morons. I don’t like them in my Democratic Party and I hope somebody nearby sets them straight. There’s no place for that sort of rhetoric in the liberal movement.

Palin may be a scary, unintelligent fundamentalist who has no qualification for being where she currently is. But she’s no c*nt.

That felt good. Now you go ahead.

  27. Leota2 says:

Yes people . . . Some of my fellow Ohioans. They’re poor, uneducated, fearful of anything that isn’t church or Walmart. They don’t know where their asses are let alone what’s happening in the world.

I live in a liberal college town, they pretty much live in the Middle Ages.

It is truly scary in this state since John and Sarah came to town. . . . .

  28. Wonder how many “Negroes” occupy first string positions on that boy’s favorite pro football team (bet anything the head coach looks more like me than him- Romeo Crenell in Cleveland, Marvin Lewis in Cincinnati, and for some Eastern Ohionas (”The Valley”), Mike Tomlin in Pittsburgh.

Heck, until 2006 the Ohio Secretary of State was Ken Blackwell.

Citations, please. Thanks in advance. Anything coming out of official party offices, like the racist flyer with watermelon and chicken noted here and elsewhere? The state party director of Virginia (noted here and elsewhere)? The flyers distributed in Virginia and NC (noted at Talking Points Memo? I didn’t think so. Nice try with the false equivalence, but no sale. Good day, sir.

4 idiots who wore “Sarah Palin is a c*nt” t-shirts at that Obama rally

I hope y’all get this story straight eventually. Every picture I’ve seen on a blog and every MSM news story shows the idiots at a Palin rally. You’ll have to tell me when you find a picture that documents that those t-shirts were visible to Obama at any point. I was so amused when McCain brought those t-shirts up at last night’s debate — I was yelling at the TV “Say cunt! say cunt on national TV! Please!” — but Obama didn’t get a chance to say, “Uh, WTF are you talking about?”

  32. Guy Manndude says:

They grow good people in those small towns.

  33. bryan says:

I watched some guy at Haevard opine that people in the USA would rather believe a simple lie than a complicated truth, however logical that truth is. The proof is out there…

Even better: “Well John, you are getting a little thin up there.”

  35. Bruce Henry says:

Saying these racists are “uneducated” is giving them a pass. I, too, never finished college. All you have to do is pay attention.
These people are proudly, stubbornly, unashamedly ignorant. That’s why Palin appeals to them.
You don’t have to be educated to go to the fucking library. Educate yourself! Isn’t that what they constantly chant? Do it your damnself! Stand on your own!

  36. Bubba says:

Republicans in this election, more so than any other, are absolutely ruining this country. Fucking idiots.

  37. TroyJMorris says:

    It’s off YouTube now… hmmmmm.

  38. Jaim says:

The fracture between the Wall Street conservatives and the fundy conservaties is almost complete. It will become final in November when McCain loses in a landslide and both houses of Congress go more Democratic than ever before.

This is was kos has been talking about — let’s not just win, let’s destroy the party of Atwater, Thurmond, Bush, Cheney, Nixon, etc. Thing is, it isn’t just rhetoric. Reagan had the political chops to bring these two groups together, but nobody in the party can do it now. Bush II did it to get elected, but he also happened to be the worst president ever. We could very well see the Republican party splinter into a Jesus faction (Huckabee, Palin) and a fiscal conservative one (Romney, Giuliani). But these two groups ain’t going to fit under the same tent any longer.

  39. ed says:

It will become final in November when McCain loses in a landslide and both houses of Congress go more Democratic than ever before.

I will not tolerate that kind of talk. It ain’t over. The Republicans are working overtime with bogus voter fraud bulljive to mask voter supression and are acting like the cornered rats they are to retain power. Who knows what can happen between now and November 4. One thing which has to happen is a concerted Get Out the Vote effort for Obama and on down the tickets. No hop to it!

let’s not just win, let’s destroy the party of Atwater, Thurmond, Bush, Cheney, Nixon, etc

    A permanent Democratic majority, perhaps?

    Beware hubris, “my friends”.

  41. Jaim says:

Oh, the Dems will find a way to fuck things up soon enough. But they’ll do it out of mere incompetence, not an insane cognitive dissonance between two factions who have completely different ideological goals.

It worked during the eighties. It started to fall apart in the 90’s. It completely wrecked our country during the naughts. To quote Iron Chef, it’s ovah. The coalition is now dead. The fundies and the fiscal conservatives will still be around, but their divorce from their initial shotgun wedding will be complete.

  44. Dave in SoCal says:

Every picture I’ve seen on a blog and every MSM news story shows the idiots at a Palin rally.

You’re right, those idiots should have been demonstrating their stupidity at an Obama rally, like those “Palin is a Cunt” t-shirt wearers were doing at a Palin rally.

You’ll have to tell me when you find a picture that documents that those t-shirts were visible to Obama at any point.

And maybe you could find a picture that documents people wearing “Obama is a Nigger” t-shirts at a rally visible to McCain or Palin at any point. It shouldn’t be that difficult, right? I mean, with all that rampant racism going on at their rallies.

    Don’t worry. We’ll wait.

  45. hdot says:

uh dave? calling a woman a cunt is base and rude, true, but its not on even the same stratosphere as calling someone a nigger. get.real.
