Seriously, though – how long before the cable news media (and perhaps even ABC) starts asking the same question but feeding their viewers some fake “Obama is a spiteful, spiteful man” story? Selling 30 mins of time requires taking <i>Pushing Daisies</i> off for a week and finding something else to fill the 8:30 PM EDT half-hour slot that can still compete with CBS's comedies and the World Series. NBC only had to pre-empt <i>Knight Ryder</i>, and really, they probably would have paid either campaign to have an excuse to do that. ABC has three one-hour dramas on Wednesday night.
