Roadblock

Major League Baseball has moved back the scheduled start time of game six of the World Series so Fox can join CBS and NBC in airing a half-hour Barack Obama advertisement on Oct. 29, network and league sources said.

A network spokeswoman confirmed the buy and said MLB had agreed to the network’s request for the delay.

Wonder how come they seem to have left ABC out in the cold?

Could it be The Path to 9/11? The Disney Corp has been pro-Republican for years.

off topic, but I hope someone here can press michelle malkin to count john mcains “blinks” in the debate tonight. Just saying.

ABC has three one-hour dramas on Wednesday night. Selling 30 mins of time requires taking Pushing Daisies off for a week and finding something else to fill the 8:30 PM EDT half-hour slot that can still compete with CBS’s comedies and the World Series.

NBC only had to pre-empt Knight Ryder, and really, they probably would have paid either campaign to have an excuse to do that.

Oh come on, Matt! I mean, just because there are boring, structurally valid scheduling reasons for ABC not to be included, that’s no reason to not go conspiracy theory! Let’s see… maybe something like:

I hear that ABC is missing out on a million dollars of Barack Obama’s campaign lucre because the Obama campaign is still pissed off over this:

Seriously, though – how long before the cable news media (and perhaps even ABC) starts asking the same question but feeding their viewers some fake “Obama is a spiteful, spiteful man” story? It’ll be the “fake equivalence” they’ve been looking for to counterbalance Sarah Palin’s neo-fascist refusal to hold a press conference.
