Why is the Daily Show the only show doing real journalism on TV on a regular basis?

    That’s why I watch the Daily Show for my news. Soooo much more informative than “legitimate” news shows.

    If you only watched the Daily Show, you’d know that Saddam Hussein didn’t have WMDs. If you only watched Fox News, you’d think that Saddam was linked to 9-11 and Barrack Obama was a Muslim terrorist. Really.

    Because reality, especially GOP reality, has a bias toward being parodied, and Serious, Wise People can’t do parody.

    Of course, if you don’t know what reality is, you won’t get the jokes, which is why the audience is liberal.
