It has EVERYTHING to do with the man’s experience, patriotism, ethics, world view, politics, and personal associates.

In both cases, they speak for themselves.

Your absolutely right, Joan. That's why I'm voting and pushing for "That one."

When you read or hear, "This has nothing to do with color," you can guess what's coming. It's kin to "I know it's not 'politically correct'...", "I'm not prejudiced...", and things of this nature. Thanks for you concern Joan.

No one disputes the contributions of the Black man or woman in America.

Really. No one. No one at all. Think about the wide breadth of the American voter, and then reconsider your phrasing here.

I agree with that Joan, but on that basis, I chose the other candidate.

Funny, ain't it?

If Alan Keyes (also a Black man) was running for President I would vote for him in a HEARTBEAT!

You would vote for the guy that ran for a senator under the platform that he would repeal the 17th amendment? Aley Keyes: You shouldn't have the right to vote for me!

That says alot more about you than it does about Obama or any of us.

If you want to talk scarey that Palin witch is frightfull! She's the one that is hiding her background. She's the one that won't answer questions.
Nice video, ed. My question would be, who was the last presidential candidate who would take 6 minutes talking to just one person in the crowd?

This has nothing to do with color, intelligence, creativity, or social standing......

It has EVERYTHING to do with the man's experience, patriotism, ethics, world view, politics, and personal associates.

In both cases, they speak for themselves.

Pulling the "race card" is as low down as the politics of class envy that the Democrats pull out and parade across the landscape during every election. No one disputes the contributions of the Black man or woman in America. But I ask you - what has Barack Obama contributed to America?

If Alan Keyes (also a Black man) was running for President I would vote for him in a HEARTBEAT! But he's not the one running....

Be careful what you wish for...

Off topic:

Who was the last Republican presidential candidate who could have spoken with such intimate policy knowledge (in this case taxes on small businesses)? I'll go with Nixon. That guy was smart. Awful president (and candidate), horrible human being, but very smart. But since then? Bupkus. Can I vote for the smart guy this time (bonus: by all appearances this smart candidate would not be a bad president or person!)? I just wanna make sure it's OK before I pull the lever.

Yes, black voters could make the difference, never mind God (whether She's black or not).

Also for white racists who wouldn't mind Barack's help through the economic swamp, but just can't bring themselves to consider a "colored" president: take a leaf from David Allen Grier (though I thought of it first!), remind them Obama's biracial, and tell them to vote for the "white half."

Dunno why this joke hasn't got more currency--could get some Neanderthals to develop a little perspective -
