Team McCain Still Playing Fuzzy Math With Crowd Sizes

The McCain campaign claimed that 25,000 people came to see them in Virginia today. The only problem is the venue only holds 16,000.

If McCain will lie about something as simple as crowd size — what won’t he lie about?

Another question is, what hasn’t he lied about? Even this ACORN thing. He was for it before he was against it.

Anybody remember the tail end of Sen. Clinton’s campaign, when she got off the plane and started waving to the supporters that weren’t there, but the cameras framed a tight shot so hopefully nobody would know it?

This seems similar. Feeling it slipping away, getting increasingly desperate. I have a great deal of admiration for Sen. Clinton, and winced when I read about the airplane incident. This one makes me wince a little less.

    Not new.

They were claiming 20,000-30,000 at the Home Depot Tennis Center in Carson in September. They were able to get every media outlet to claim there were “up to 30,000 in attendance”.

The stadium holds 8,000 people. None of the local video showed people in an overflow area. The arena did not appear full.
