The t-shirts for the guys are cute, but why would you wreck a perfectly nice white wedding gown and little white dress for the flower girl (which dress otherwise would be reusable for church or other special occassions) by painting blue words on them? They should have put the paint on a smock or something similar that could have been put over the dresses without damaging them.

Maybe they didn’t want to buy a bunch of expensive one time use clothes for everyone and went with a (relatively) clever and unique choice instead?

I think it’s cute, and the statements on the clothing are fun and positive. Absolutely no problems with this stuff.

Maybe the guy who painted the shirts had a special significance or something.

While I don’t know if I would approve of the bride and groom’s attire (if I were mom), I think the guests wearing t-shirts explaining their role in the relationship is quite clever. For example, one man’s t-shirt says “They met at my crib”. How cool is that?

It’s their wedding, they can do what they like, but it is celebrating the negative aspects of Black American culture that you just can’t seem to shake off. Plus it’s as tasteful as a tofu bubble. Hardly alone in either respect though.
