If you define “prominent” to include Michael Savage and Glenn Beck, I’d say “dead certain.”
Beyond that, I wouldn’t put it past some GOP or McCain County Chair somewhere. Probably not anyone higher up the food chain, unless they’re a retired out-to-pasture eminence grise from a couple decades ago, at least.
I don’t think so. It’s the “of prominence” that decides it for me.
Now some yokel at a Sarah Palin rally? Youbetcha!
It’ll be just like Allen. Someone will catch it with a cell phone or something and it will come out.
I predict it will be someone like Lynn Westmoreland. Not prominent nationally but an elected official at the federal level. I really hope it’s McConnell. That guy creeps me out.
I also predict they will try to use the Michelle Obama “Why’d he” tape. These people have proven they’ll believe ANYTHING even if it’s patently false right on the face of it. Maybe not directly from the McCain campaign but newscorp will try to push it as controversy.
I think it is certain that someone will use some slur. Hell, that some will use some slurs. And when it happens, the McCain campaign is going to laugh it off.
But the joke will be on them.
Hard to say. I’m tempted to say that even among the ones that hold with those opinions and that language, they’re not that stupid. But I’ve been proven wrong time and again.
“It’ll be just like Allen. Someone will catch it with a cell phone or something and it will come out.”
Allen said it in public, he just didn’t mean it to be recorded and spread. Here it will be a private conversation that will be recorded and spread over the internet.
Oh, I so hope it’s Bill Kristol.
one of the cons will probably use the word during their 2 minutes hate against ACORN
I’ll put my money on a long shot: “Sambo.”
I fully expect someone to call Obama “Naive” between now and election day.
It’s a certainty.
And rest assured, if Obama does win, the left will face an assault like nothing you’ve ever seen before in your life. That is a promise.
The man is an unqualified, naive, terrorost-sympathing, racist, socialist scum that is not worthy of the white house. And the fact that you people will vote for a man that has associted with so many radicals shows the degree of your own stupidity. Obama makes Bush look like a boy scout. Haven’t you stupid fucks ever noticed that people RUN FROM leftist dictatorships, and not towards them?
There will be a movement in response if this socialist fraud gets into the white house. Rest assured.
LMAO!
“I fully expect someone to call Obama “Naive” between now and election day.”
“The man is…naive…”
You’re good.
The only movement in response I want to see from those of mccann’s ilk is a rush to sign up for this proposal.
“There will be a movement in response if this socialist fraud gets into the white house. Rest assured.”
Might be a good idea for everyone to put the Secret Service phone number on speed dial for the next nine years.
“And rest assured, if Obama does win, the left will face an assault like nothing you’ve ever seen before in your life … The man is an unqualified, naive, terrorost-sympathing, racist, socialist scum that is not worthy of the white house.”
There, there little bear. hush now. Evweting gonna be awight …
And rest assured, if Obama does win, the left will face an assault like nothing you’ve ever seen before in your life. That is a promise.
You mean worse than the Munich Beer Hall-style rallies the “you need gloves to touch him” Republicans have recently held? Yikes indeed. Thanks for the warning. I’m sure the FBI will be interested too.
Ah, socialist, the new Obama meme on the right. Still waiting for the Althouse commenters to explain how Obama fits the dictionary definition of socialist. Oh, wait, Random House must be liberally biased and wrote their definition so it wouldn’t include Obama.
I fully expect someone to call Obama “Naive” between now and election day.
Good job there, sherlock. You can’t even get the parms right to satisfy the question – OW asked whether someone on the right of prominence would be using the other n word (you know, the one Republican’ts use in casual conversation when talking about teh darkies). Then again, it sorta points to you being one of the smarterer Republican’t iceholes out there…
I think I can confidently say that there will be no prominent Republican’ts who refer to Obama as “Noble”, “Nice”, or “Normal”.
terrorost-sympathing
Wouldn’t want someone “sympathing” “terrorosts” as president, now would we?
Haven’t you stupid fucks ever noticed that people RUN FROM leftist dictatorships, and not towards them?
I think that may have more to do with the dictatorship part and less so with the “leftist” part. People did (and do) the same with “rightist” dictatorships.
There will be a movement in response if this socialist fraud gets into the white house. Rest assured.
Translation: I HATE DEMOCRACY!
Part of me hopes that jmacc’s right, in that the ultra-right wingers will expose themselves as the lunatic terrorists they actually are.
The reason they have worked so hard to create all these euphemisms is so they can use them every day and everyone knows they are saying “uppity n…” but no one calls them on it. The extra added attraction of the media teaching everyone that when you say “articulate black man” you mean “uppity n…” is that you have less risk of being busted on an open mike because you don’t need to be explicit.
Oh, j mccann is making threats on behalf of the right wing. Oh, I’m so scared.
The so-called angry terrible leftists managed to not attempt an assassination of any member of this incredibly corrupt administration that fucked over the country for eight years, and your crybaby ass is already about ready to turn this nation into a banana republic if your guy doesn’t win?
Go ahead. “Respond,” traitor.
This thread is just hilarious.
Like any of you have any room to talk. This fraud of a candidate sat in a racist church for 20 years and turned a blind eye. I can imagine the squeals coming from you pigs if John McCain had sat in a church ran by David Duke. There are more racists in Obama’s church than there are active klan members.
Don’t give me any of this “oooh lookee da cons r mean to teh blacks” garbage, when your fraud of a candidate ebmraces bigots and terrorists.
At least *try* to have some integrity or intellectual honesty.
mccann: “The man is….not worthy of the White House.”
If you’ve read any of this guy’s comments before, you know he thinks that NO black man is worthy of ANY house.
Maybe if Obama is elected, jmccann will find the guts to climb squinting and blinking out of his mom’s basement and participate in a “movement.” But I doubt it.
This fraud of a candidate sat in a racist church for 20 years and turned a blind eye.
Trinity United is racist?
One of us doesn’t know what that word means.
mccann: “The man is….not worthy of the White House.”
Shorter mccann: “I am Lynne Cheney.”
Reading mccann’s comments is like watching a Dalek begin to shudder with impotent frustration the first time they encountered stairs.
Any second now the comments are going to drop all verbs and just become a litany of talking points. “AYERS! WRIGHT! COCAINE! FLAG PIN! SOCIALISM! DOES NOT COMPUTE! EXTERMINATE! EXTERMINATE!”
You’re a joke. Enjoy your coming irrelevance.
“There will be a movement in response if this socialist fraud gets into the white house. Rest assured.”
Silly fascist. That’s why Obama X is going to take away all the guns when he takes office. Hrrrmph.
Out of curiosity, what was so racist about Obama’s church as a whole such that you can make assumptions that there were thousands of racists in it? The church had both black and white members and invited white ministers to preach in its pulpit.
You think it’s racist because it “does not apologize for its African roots”? Because they believe that “Our job as servants of God is to address that problem [of the color line] and eradicate it in the name of Him who came for the whole world by calling all men, women, boys and girls to Christ”?
Because they referred to a Black Value System that urged an African American neighborhood, with many people who were failing in education, work, parenting and neighborliness, to commit themselves to the values of their black families, black communities, black work ethics and black institutions?
Where McCann and other conservatives see racism, I see the beginning of love for self and those around oneself. If one looks at all the charities with which I possibly could be interacting, by having just one of the four in which I take an active interest be for South Asians (Asha for Education), I’m taking a disproportionate interest in South Asian charities. My dad is a Reagan-worshipping Republican who has donated $10k over the years to Republicans, and never a penny to Democrats, but he chose to build a hospital and medical school in his home village rather than, say, somewhere in Appalachia. It’s not out of lack of love for America — his toast at my wedding reception spent more time on what a great country this is than talking about me — but simply a sense of obligation and attachment to where he came from.
I don’t feel that we have to apologize for having a particular concern for the welfare of South Asians (the ones who are still in South Asia, I mean — those who are in the U.S. are mostly doing all right). I don’t feel that black people have to apologize for having a particular concern for other African Americans or for Africans.
But the conservative concept of “racist” has now grown to encompass me, Dad and the congregation of TUCC.
Well done, PG!
“This fraud of a candidate sat in a racist church for 20 years and turned a blind eye”
John Hagee’s church?
Thomas Muthee’s church?
McCann understands the need to eschew logic and equality of principles while voting in lockstep to follow a glorified crash-test pilot and a sub-zero Stepford Wife off a cliff.
“If you’ve read any of this guy’s comments before, you know he thinks that NO black man is worthy of ANY house.”
I’m sure that’s probably the case but I also think that no matter who the Dem nominee was — black, white, male, female, doesn’t matter — we’d be seeing the same kind of rhetoric and tactics from the right.
No matter who the Dem nominee was they’d be screaming “radical,” “most liberal in history,” “terrorist,” “traitor,” “dangerous,” “socialist,” Etc. etc. This is just how the republicans operate now.
Obama’s race and personal history just make it easier for them to stoke the rage on their side, but does anyone doubt that if the nominee was Clinton or someone else, conservatives wouldn’t be running the same play book? Hell, the Dems could have nominated Lieberman and suddenly he’d be “the most radical, dangerous socialist ever nominated by a major party in US history” with a strong undercurrent of anti-semitism thrown in to boot. (No doubt, Mccann would be telling us, “We all know who really runs the banks, right?”)
Conservatives have been feeding on their own swill for so long now they’ve convinced themselves that a democrat, any democrat, in the white house is a grave and serious threat to the survival of the country. Even more than that, they’ve convinced themselves that this country is theirs, and theirs alone, by right. The rest of us are just anti-American, elitists who want to hand the whole thing over to both the godless communists and the radical religious Islamists at the same time.
John McCain has absolutely no problem with stoking their apoplectic rage even further in a desperate bid to save his campaign. Of course to his supporters, it looks like McCain is trying to save the country from disaster. They’re all nuts.
Oooooh! I see I’ve hit a nerve with the hypocrites that claim to be against racism! Yeah…I said it….and I stand by it…..Wright, his church, and his supporters are a bunch of anti-white bigots, and the fact that Barack Osama, the terrorist-sympathinzing socialist, sat in that church for 20 years says a lot about who he is. And if you idiots are too stupid to see it, that’s your problem.
I love how your against racism, but only when it’s from a conservative. Buch of sorry hypocrites. None of you truly stand for anything.
And um……I don’t think McCain spent 20 years in a racist church, whoever it was that said something about Hagee. And btw, Wright makes Hagee look like a boy scout.
BAM!
j mccann: Wright, his church, and his supporters are a bunch of anti-white bigots
Can you tell me just what you’re basing that on? Wright preached at TUCC for, what, twenty years or more? That’s a long time. So hopefully you are able to point to something far more than 30 seconds of video you’ve seen over and over again.
So, show me what you’ve got.
Oooooh! I see I’ve hit a nerve with the hypocrites that claim to be against racism!
You couldn’t hit water falling out of a boat.
And btw, Wright makes Hagee look like a boy scout.
Funny thing. Wright was a Boy Scout. And a Marine. For 2 tours.
Can you tell me just what you’re basing that on?
That should be pretty obvious, Sean. 10 seconds of video on a continuous loop over at FOX.
And absolutely nothing else.
Um….I think this pretty much sums it up.
Goes into his history, and some of the things he’s said that are less than nice about white people.
http://conservativecentral.us/?p=60
Or, if you want, you could just google “Wright racist statements” and find about a thousand examples yourself. I’m not much into posting links.
It’s not rocket science.
There’s no reason for any decent human being to attend a church that accuses whites of creating aids to kill blacks, and the various other nutty anti-white conspiracy theories that bigot his. Not only is he a racist, he’s batshit crazy, and the members of his church are worthless racist scum.
Remember that McCann is making the charge not only against Wright, but against the congregation as a whole. Unfortunately, he doesn’t bother to respond to questions about what, specifically, in TUCC’s mission or works he finds so racist. I think it’s best to ignore his comments until he actually addresses the issue; otherwise it’s as pointless as debating Gov. Palin.
In fairness to Palin’s blessing-giver Rev. Muthee (who is specifically beloved on the right for his anti-witch activities), driving “witches” out of their homes is more a sign of total irrationality and latent misogyny than racism.
Because Democrats think that treating homosexuals as equal human beings is important, we rate Rev. Wright as a superior human being compared to Hagee, even without considering Hagee’s anti-Catholic, anti-Muslim and anti-Jewish sentiments.
Oooooh! I see I’ve hit a nerve with the hypocrites that claim to be against racism! Yeah…I said it….and I stand by it…..Wright, his church, and his supporters are a bunch of anti-white bigots
You’re going to have to try a little harder, mccann. The article you linked was long on paraphrase and guessing at motives. It was short on actual evidence. What is it about Trinity that you believe is racist?
I repeat, one of us doesn’t know what the word means.
And PG, don’t assume mccann is a “he.” It’s possible we are being entertained by Little Miss Attila.
mccann, if you think Rev. Wright’s theories about the origins of the AIDS virus are nothing more than delusional ravings, I have two words for you: Project Coast.
The issue has been addressed. I have provided proof of Wright’s racism. If you choose to keep your head planted deep within your own ass and ignore this racism, so be it. That’s a kind of stupid that can’t be fixed.
And in a statement above…..just the fact that there is a “black value system,” and so forth is a form of racism. And consider what you’d think if a church full of whites accused blacks of creating aids, intentionally running drugs to white neighborhoods, and had a “white value system.” That is racist….and batshit crazy. Here, go to google and type in “Wright racist statements” Then take your pick.
Jesus. I can’t believe I just had to explain this. Even most Democrats think the guy is a crazy bigot. What planet do you live on? Are you on drugs (no doubt forced down your throat by white devils, right?)
Seriously…..you can’t be this stupid. Come on now, if the place is so inclusive and wonderful, why doesn’t Barack bring Wright the bigot out on the campaign trail with him? And for as much petty shit that gets called racist on this site when it clearly isn’t, I honestly have a hard time believing that you seriously believe that Wright isn’t a racist. This is the most race-sensitive blog I’ve ever seen, and to pretend not see what is racist about the statements Wright has made over the years is either a bold act of intellectual dishonesty, or a level of stupidity I’ve not seen on here yet.
I have provided proof of Wright’s racism.
Insisting doesn’t make it so.
Once again, one of us doesn’t know what the word means. Saying things that make white people uncomfortable–even outrageously wrong things–is not “racism.” You keep using the word as if its definition is self-evident.
the members of his church are worthless racist scum.
Nice. That’s mighty Christian of you.
to pretend not see what is racist about the statements Wright has made over the years is either a bold act of intellectual dishonesty, or a level of stupidity I’ve not seen on here yet
Do I get to choose?
And in a statement above…..just the fact that there is a “black value system,” and so forth is a form of racism. And consider what you’d think if a church full of whites accused blacks of creating aids, intentionally running drugs to white neighborhoods, and had a “white value system.”
The relationship and relative socioeconomic power of black and white Americans has been anything but equal, so any statement of equivalence regarding senses of ethnic solidarity among the groups’ members is nonsense.
Jmacc, I see the problem here. You’re just a whiny middle schooler who cries about how there should be a “White Entertainment Network” since there’s a “Black Entertainment Network”. In a perfect world, yes, that would work. But this is anything BUT a perfect world.
Don’t go burning all your crosses at one place, or you won’t have any wood to beat those queers with.
Fling.
Whirr.SPLAT!!No, McCann. This time I’m putting the stuff you’re trying to sling onto a plate and making your ignorant ass eat it.
Bon appetit, loser.
SDM to j mccann: “So, show me what you’ve got.”
j mccann in reply: I got a link to a ranting website that provides no more support for its generalities than I have for mine. But “I’m not much into posting links.” yet “I have provided proof of Wright’s racism.
Translated j mccann: I got nuthin’.
“the members of his church are worthless racist scum”
“I have provided proof of Wright’s racism.”
“Even most Democrats think the guy is a crazy bigot.”
The comedy stylings of j mccann, ladies and gentlemen. Enjoy. He’ll be here with us all week. (Unfortunately.)
Quaker says….
“Once again, one of us doesn’t know what the word means. Saying things that make white people uncomfortable–even outrageously wrong things–is not “racism.” You keep using the word as if its definition is self-evident.”
LMAO! You’ve got to be fuckin kidding me??????
Let me know when you apply that standard to other demographics. Puuuuhleeaase! Seriously, some of the shit that has been called racist on this blog definitely doesn’t qualify by your standards. Christ, wasn’t it this blog that made a stink over Trent Lott because he paid an old guy a compliment at his birthday. That was called racist. Imus? Racist! Michael Richards? Racist! I guess they’re not racist though…they’re just bigots, because technically, calling someone a name isn’t really oppressing anyone based on their racial background. Now, according to you, I guess that’s not racism, just bigotry. Whatever man. Choose your poison. One’s no better than the other. Your problem is that you’re inconsistent with your application of the allegation of racism. Remember this thread, Quaker. I’ll hold you to your standard from here on out. Regardless, your attempt to play Wright off as not being a racist/bigot is laughable. If you said that out in public or in a debate forum, you’d be an instant punchline. Try it and tell me how it goes.
Quaker, you’ve actually hit a new low with this shit today. You’ve proven to everyone that’s reading this that you have not one shred of intellectual honesty. Well, either that or you’re incredibly stupid. Or hell, maybe both. Seriously, you’re on the wrong blog if you’ve suddenly become interested in using the term racism appropriately. OW throws that allegation out every time someone says something that “makes him uncomfortable,” as you put it. I suppose you’ll take him to task next time, eh? Not holding my breath on that one though.
On the bright side of things, I’m glad to see that you now will not be calling everything racist and will only apply the term when it is applicable and have left the camp of phony race-whining and race-based politics. Good boy, Quaker. Good boy. Welcome to the real world.
And Duros….I’m agnostic and don’t believe in any organized religion. I even went to see Religulous, even though I can’t stand Bill Maher. Funny flick.
I see this blog doesn’t have a Don’t Feed the Trolls policy. Again, if McCann can’t come up with a) a working definition of racism under which to make his claim; and b) primary evidence for Wright’s racism — primary evidence being defined as Wright’s own words on paper, video or audiotape — in order to support the claim, he’s not addressing the issue and shouldn’t be debated. Responding to people who aren’t engaging the issue just makes them believe that they’ve actually said something.
Also, I would be interested in McCann’s providing evidence of the racism of Wright’s entire congregation, including Obama himself, rather than simply assuming that anyone who listens to a racist sermon is himself a racist. I don’t assume that everyone who listens to an anti-feminist sermon is anti-feminist; I attended a friend’s wedding this year where the pastor wandered off into politics, and I didn’t think less of my friend and her husband for having picked this guy. I just figured that he must have other redeeming qualities as a minister.
Right PG. Going to a friends wedding = Selecting a church with an insane bigoted/racist pastor.
That was a horrible analogy on your part.
And I suppose people that attend Hamas rallies or white supremacist marches are just there for “their other redeeming qualities.”
Your sinking. And fast.
And I suppose people that attend Hamas rallies or white supremacist marches are just there for “their other redeeming qualities.”
You tell me.
LMAO! You’ve got to be fuckin kidding me??????
Do you pray to Jesus with that mouth?
Let me know when you apply that standard to other demographics. Puuuuhleeaase! Seriously, some of the shit that has been called racist on this blog definitely doesn’t qualify by your standards.
Are we talking about all those other statements now? I thought we were discussing something you wrote about Trinity church.
Your problem is that you’re inconsistent with your application of the allegation of racism.
Stupid, I’ll accept. Dishonest, I’ll accept. Inconsistent? Them’s fightin’ words!
OW throws that allegation out every time someone says something that “makes him uncomfortable,” as you put it. I suppose you’ll take him to task next time, eh?
If I feel like it. Just like today. You gonna answer my questions or not?
I’m glad to see that you now will not be calling everything racist and will only apply the term when it is applicable and have left the camp of phony race-whining and race-based politics.
Guess not.
I see this blog doesn’t have a Don’t Feed the Trolls policy.
It has a Poke Them With a Stick policy.
Hey mccann, while we’re waiting for my replies to de-cloak, I have a question: You gonna vote for McCain? Or is he too soft for you?
j mccann: Right PG. Going to a friends wedding = Selecting a church with an insane bigoted/racist pastor.
That was a horrible analogy on your part.
So you’re saying attending an event doesn’t mean one shares the values of the organization.
And I suppose people that attend Hamas rallies or white supremacist marches are just there for “their other redeeming qualities.”
So you’re suggesting attending an event does mean one shares the values of the organization.
Damn, my whiplash is acting up again.
McCain. Not my first choice, but yeah, I’ll be voting for him. Obama, and more importantly, the people he has/does associate with, scare the living shit out of me. I Considered Bob Barr and even Ron Paul for a minute. But those are wasted votes at this point. Originally I wanted Fred Thompson.
I don’t care if Obama sat in church for 20 years. An atheist will never be elected President so I’m resigned to voting for candidates who attend fucking church. It doesn’t matter if a candidate is Mormon, Catholic, Muslim, Jewish or Assembly of God — it’s all baffling to me. I vote on policy and if religion is infused in the policy, the candidate won’t appeal to me on a variety of issues.
More importantly, Republicans should be asking themselves why they want to elect an asshole.
Jmccann has GOT to be about 22 years old, has no concept of history, and lives/comments in his/her mom’s basement.
Some professor in his junior college PolySci 101 class told him/her that the free market system is always right. That professor had dreamy eyes, so he/she was obviously right.
And then along comes a (smooth-talking, uncomfortably handsome, tall) black guy who upsets his/her recently acquired world view.
“Socialist! Terrorist! Naive! Aaauuggghhh!”
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Bruce, sounds like you have a crush on the man. First off, If barack gets elected…I stand to lose money. Yes, that’s right (Gasp) I think it would be pretty stupid for someone that has invested a LOT in precious metals to vote for the guy that will jack up taxes if I were to sell them. IT would literally cost me several THOUSANDS of dollars. Other reasons include the additional trillion in spending that we can’t afford, his half-truths about the people has associated with, the role of liberals in the mortgage meltdown when they thought it was a brilliant idea to get fannie and freddie to buy up crap mortgages to allow lower incompe people to get homes they never should have had, (which none of you would ever admit to), his desire to withdrawl from Iraq even though we’re closer than ever to actually winning that fucking mess, his unclear statements about how he’d meet with insane and/or anti-american world leaders without preconditions…and then with preconditions….or whatever his platform is now, his take on energy, which in my opinion doesn’t go far enough. he’s had a problem with drilling and with nuclear power, and I think we ought to throw the kitchen sink at the problem. Do everything, and a lot of it. I also worry about increased environmental regualtions that could greatly increase prices on things like electric and gas for everyone. I have also listened for eight years to shrill whining from the left. I have heard your side gloat over the illness and death of individuals simply because you may have disagreed with them on policy, I’ve seen so many radicals seize power in your party that I feel that Democrats, even reasonable ones, are now owned by an element of your party that has no business being in power. And yes, dare I say it, this element is a who’s who of loons made up of socialists, communists, open-borders advocates, and anti-american radicals. (Bill Ayers? Hmm.) Nearly all anti-american statements, anti-troop statements, and ridiculous protests are from the left. Example: do you think the idiots in the trees in Berkeley were conservatives? Um….no. I also have a problem with judicial activism, usually on the left but not solely, over-riding the will of the people in many cases. The fact that Barack may get to appoint 3 supreme court justices is another reason. With his far-left voting record, I know the type of people that he would appoint. I also do not trust Obama one bit on immigration. Under Bush, at least they’ve STARTED to do something about it, and the flow has slowed down. I support raids on employers. I support large fines for the employers too, and even loss of business license. I also believe that non-citizens should not be entitled to any benefits of any kind, and that people born in this country of illegals should not be citizens. We have had jobs stolen, wages suppressed, an increase in violent crime, and the draining of our resources because of this problem, and I do not trust Obama or any Democrat to do anything about this issue, becuase let’s face it, hispanics are a group they’re pandering to, and they’d love nothing more to have 15 million uneducated, low-skilled people that don’t speak english dependent on them. It’s all about votes. Also, the left is not capable or permitted to do anything that could be accused or perceived as insensitive or racist to one of their protected demographics, wich hispanics are. NOt that the Republicans have been much better or anythying though. And one last thing…..I absolutely do not believe Obama on his tax cuts. There is no way we can be this much in debt, and can cut taxes for 95% of the public by only raising taxes on a fraction of a percentage of the population. And also, considering that we are in a country that is increasing in number and also increasing in age, I see it as impossible to implement programs such as universal health care without eventually imposing some for of draconian tax rate on the majority of the population. There simply aren’t enough people working now to support the amount of people claiming benefits, (ss medi) and now Obama wants another HUGE entitlement. This isn’t conservative/liberal here, this is common sense and math. And there you have it. HOpefully I’ve explained why I will not be voting for Obama.
And no Bruce, for the record, I’m 32, work about 50 hours/week at a stable job, am half owner of a small LLC now, and have a wonderful fiance and soon-to-be stepson.
Good day to you all people.
Don’t go burning all your crosses at one place, or you won’t have any wood to beat those queers with.
Win.
Duros…
If by “win” you mean making some snide comment based on ignorant smears, then golly gee….you’re right.
I don’t expect much more from you though. Your debating skills are on par with children on a schoolyard playground, and if a comment like that is a “win” to you, it’s all the more reason to keep those with your views out of power. You’re intellectually bankrupt when it comes to actually backing up anything.
Win.
j mccann: You’re intellectually bankrupt when it comes to actually backing up anything.
This from j mccann, who still has nothing to back up his claims about Rev Wright and everyone in his congregation. Or anything else.
Spare me.
Mccann: You been drinkin’?
Thanks for re-capping FOX “News” for the last 8 years.
And thanks for your critique of Duros’ debating skills after your oh so logically inarguable post right before. What a smackdown you put on us stupid liberals. I am going to slink away in shame now.
“for the record, I’m 32, work about 50 hours/week at a stable job, am half owner of a small LLC now, and have a wonderful fiance and soon to be stepson.”
Sure you do.
I think it would be pretty stupid for someone that has invested a LOT in precious metals to vote for the guy that will jack up taxes if I were to sell them.
I don’t think John Q. Public invests thousands of dollars in gold stocks just because Limbaugh commercials told him to do so.
(which none of you would ever admit to),
Why would I admit to something that isn’t true?
If by “win” you mean making some snide comment based on ignorant smears, then golly gee….you’re right.
Don’t blame me, I didn’t put the clause about gays not being people in the RNC charter.
his desire to withdrawl from Iraq even though we’re closer than ever to actually winning that fucking mess,
So you want to vote for someone who will in all likeliness repeat that mistake AGAIN? Good game.
HOpefully I’ve explained why I will not be voting for Obama.
Because you hate America?
Not one intelligent response to my post.
I’ll check back and actually respond when one of you decide to remove your head from you ass and make some sense.
Hint: name calling, smears, and smart comments don’t equal a “win.” The logic many of you go by is the equivelant of the average person that watches The View.
Coincidentally, how many of you are Rosie O’Donnell fans?
Not one intelligent response to my post.
I doubt most people would apply your standards to the definition of “intelligent”.
Hint: name calling, smears, and smart comments don’t equal a “win.”
Really? It’s worked for the Rethuglicans for the past 7 years, so I plan to mimic it for the next 70.

Tell us about it, “Marxist”.
