Obama Goes Prime Time
Tweet
Barack Obama has purchased a half-hour of airtime on CBS, sources confirm.
The Obama campaign will air a half-hour primetime special on Wednesday, Oct. 29, at 8 p.m.
Sources say the Obama camp is also in talks with NBC and Fox. NBC is said to be very near a deal. With Fox, the matter is likely to remain uncertain as the time period could conflict with Game 6 of the World Series.
A CBS spokesperson declined comment. The buy will push comedy ‘The New Adventures of Old Christine’ to 8:30 p.m. and pre-empt ‘Gary Unmarried.’ The buy is being placed by Washington-based ad firm GMMB.

On Morning Joe, with a former Republican Congressman? Really, SaveFarris, Fox News.
On DISH network, there’s a channel that’s been playing Obama’s bio film from the convention 24/7 for a few days.

For this alone he deserves to be president.
This would pre-empt or push back “Knight Rider” on NBC. Good lord, between that and “Gary Unmarried”, Obama could put up a test pattern and it’d still be a positive move.
I’m sure the reason he’s doing it is because October 21 just happens to be my birthday!
Of course a better birthday present would/will be an Obama win, but that comes a bit later.
As long as I still get to see Julia-Louis Dreyfus that night, the man has my vote.
My favorite line from a sitcom last year was when Julia L-D and her brother were in a pharmacy and he goes, “Huh. Douchebag’s a real thing.”
