A recession means something very specific. It doesn&#039;t mean &quot;a general perception that the economy stinks&quot;, no matter how widespread that feeling is. It doesn&#039;t mean the stock market sucks either. It means two consecutive quarters of negative growth. Since we haven&#039;t even gotten one yet, you are seriously jumping the gun.

Of course, this is a blogger who thinks that if there is a single economic indicator that is negative(such as gas prices), then we&#039;re in a recession.</description>
