Of course, if you listen to more than just the first 13 seconds you’d notice that he isn’t doing some stand up routine.

But that does require you have an attention span somewhat longer than that of a goldfish. A mental ability better than the goldfish’s, too.

Does anyone else wish that our President could speak like that (FDR) in today’s times? Now, anyone who gets in front of the American people and performs such oratory would be immediately discarded as an out-of-touch elitist. As great a speaker as Obama is (and he is). I think those days of FDR, JFK, and Lincoln are long over. Sad.

The stock market is down 1600 points in the last 6 days alone. Everyone, both sides, trying to do whatever they can do to stem the tide. It’s extremely painful for all Americans, and Obama stands there and jokes about it when he says people should be asking if they’re better off now than they were four weeks ago as opposed to four years ago.
