The Annenberg initiative where Obama and Ayers both worked was funded by bigtime McCain supporter Eleonore Annenberg.
I guess that makes McCain and Obama both terrorist supporters by association, huh?
Hannity is a jackass. Good to see him hoisted by his own petard.

More importantly, Gibbs didn’t let Hannity hustle him into playing on his (Hannity’s) terms. Hannity kept wanting to frame the question as “unrepentant terrorist.” Gibbs wasn’t having it.

The correct answer on this question, though, is this:

Sean, Whatever we think about his past, today Bill Ayers is a college professor. Lots of people work with him including conservative Republicans, city officials in Chicago, state government officials in Illinois, and who knows how many educational organizations and foundations. In all, there are hundreds, probably even thousands of perfectly good people who work with Mr. Ayers.

Sean, are you going to tell us that the work of all those people is somehow tainted by their association with this one guy? If so, I’d like to hear you explain how we ought to deal with all these people who know Bill Ayers.
