VA Republicans: We Could Lose!

Last week Republicans in Florida had a special meeting to discuss McCain’s eroding support there. Then Michigan Republicans wailed about McCain retreating there. Now in Virginia, Republicans are facing the very real chance that they too will lose.

Since this election season began, I’ve believed that Virginia will go Democratic. Thanks to us Marylanders moving in and a boom of younger professionals in Northern Virginia, the timing is just right. At the same time Mark Warner is on track to win the election by 20-30 percent (retiring Republican Sen. John Warner said he might vote for Warner!) and will produce an updraft at the top of the ticket for Sen. Obama.

    and THAT is why I’m volunteering every night at the local Obama office. The grass roots energy here in Northern Virginia is simply awesome. Were turning VA blue!
