This, friends, is a microcosm of the difference between the think tank world of the left and right. Both sides have an idealogical outlook on the world but time and again – Heritage Foundation vs. Center For American Progress, The Nation vs. National Review, and yes, Media Research Center vs. Media Matters – the right shows itself to be pathologically incapable of intellectual honesty.

It’s always about massaging the numbers, shading reality, or just making stuff up for the conservatives.

    Heheh – seeing as I’m just a liiitle skeptical of Oliver “party before principle” Willis’ ability to discern intellectual honesty, much less reasonably judge it, I say don’t bother with the pissing match.
